A date quartz watch is a battery-powered timepiece that uses an electronic oscillator regulated by a quartz crystal to track time accurately, alongside a small calendar window on the dial that displays the day of the month.
Battery Power: A small battery sends an electrical current through an electronic circuit.
Quartz Crystal: The electricity makes a tiny, tuning-fork-shaped quartz crystal vibrate at a precise frequency of 32,768 times per second.
Stepper Motor: The circuit counts these vibrations and translates them into regular pulses that drive a motor, moving the watch hands smoothly.
Date Complication: A rotating date wheel underneath the dial shifts forward automatically to show the correct day of the month
